Job Description

Search Consultancy Business Support are delighted to be supporting the continued growth of a global financial services client as they look to transform their local training operations with a newly created Training & Development Specialist position. The role is a brand new position which the business see taking over their existing training approach with a view to both training delivery and developing their approach, operating strategically to partner with their operations teams and transform the area. Their operations span various sales teams, selling a high-end, consultative sale led product and the training approach presently is very much centred on a low numbers, high quality approach, regardless of skill set. The role is based in Glasgow and would predominately focus on operations locally, though the wider team support sites across Europe and Asia and there may be scope to feed into this as the role develops. Key responsibilities would include:* Delivery of detailed and engaging training to both new and current employees across a range of sales focused operations with a focus on performance optimization* Design and organize training programs* Manage content and all training materials* Leadership and vision to deliver strategic direction of training and onboarding* Continuous improvement and development of training and onboarding processes* Partnering with operational management to identify needs * Work closely with insight teams to identify opportunities for additional value * Focus on embedding a sales and compliance culture and best practice approachesThe ideal candidate will have a strong track record of achievement within similar training and development roles, ideally encompassing:* Extensive delivery of sales focused training within a regulated environment such as contact centre, financial services or telecoms * Experience in training material design * Strong communication skills with ability to build relationships across large organisations * Experience in operation performance improvementIf you feel you match the skills and experience sought, please apply now.
