Job Description

Technical Trainer Programme - Business IntelligenceAbout YouWe are looking for talented technical practitioners with 2+ years experience who are seeking to develop their skills in Business Intelligence. Already on an upward trajectory, you are likely to be recognised by your peers as a leader and communicator who is drawn to the idea of helping others grow their talents and capabilities in the same way as you have grownyou own.About the RoleWe are offering a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to upskill and grow their technical capabilities by joining our training team to become a Business Intelligence Trainer. After a period of formal training to build up your expertise as wellas appropriate people skills, the role will involve training our pool of talented graduates to succeed as Business Intelligence Consultants. Based at either of our Glasgow, London or Leeds Academies you will be working as part of a global team of exceptional individuals nurturing the next generation of IT specialists. Commercial training experience along with agile delivery approaches and relevant professionalqualifications are desirable but not essential; its what you add that counts, everything else we can provide for the right candidate.We are looking for a two year commitment. After this time you may choose to continue as a substantive Business Intelligence trainer as part of our Global Academy, or become a Business Intelligence consultant working for one or more of our prestigious clients.Essential Criteria

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of extract, transform, load processes
  • Experienced in business analysis tools and techniques
  • Good knowledge of BI industry and trends
  • Experience of Administrating
  • Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server BI Stack (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) or equivalent e.g. Oracle
  • OLAP architecture
  • Interaction, visual, and information design
  • BI Dashboard Tools (such as MS Power BI)
