Job Description

Technical Sales Engineer (FMCG / Machinery)£40,000 - £45,000 + Car + Flextime + 35 Days Holiday + Bonus Glasgow, ScotlandAre you a Technical Sales Engineer looking for a highly autonomous and varied role, heading up nationwide sales for a long-standing and renowned manufacturerAre you looking to progress your career through tailed training, for a company that will invest heavily into your development and offer a fantastic benefits packageAs the lead in sales across Scotland you will be primarily managing existing accounts whilst also going out and developing new leads across the country. You will be working autonomously to manage your own desk and there will be continuous training and developmenton offer to improve your sales expertise.This manufacturing company were founded in the 1940s and provide bespoke, made to measure machinery and systems for clients within the FMCG industry. They have truly made their mark within their niche sector, with continuous growth and further growth plansahead.This role would suit a Technical Sales Engineer from a FMCG/machinery Sales background looking to develop their skills within a company that will utilise their expertise whilst offering further training and a great benefits package.The Role:

  • Selling specialist machinery
  • Account management (70%) and developing new business (30%)
  • Travelling across Glasgow and Scotland, going to customer sites
  • Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, 40 hours a week
  • Hybrid working and flexible working hours
The Person:
  • Technical Sales Engineer or similar
  • FMCG / Machinery background
