Talend Administrator - £70k + Bonus + Excellent Bens - Hybrid (Glasgow)OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, a leading financial services organisation. We are looking for a highly skilled Talend Administrator to join on a permanent basis. You will set-up remote engine configurations, and troubleshoot for performanceimprovements. You will architect and design Talend workflows to build enterprise level pipelines. Moreover, you will utilise your expertise in setting up and building CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, code versioning using Gitlab, and manage artifacts using Nexusrepository.Role and Responsibilities: Apply Upgrades, fixes, patches, and Service Packs to keep the Talend environment up to date.Report on health and performance of the ETL environment and jobs.Set-up the security management system.Take care of Back-up, data recovery, and service restoration management.Be responsible for Optimisation and Performance tuning.Take care of Incident, problem, and service outage management.Oversee simple and standard service request fulfilment/Project provisioning.Gather requirements from project teams covering areas like capacity, users, and data.Troubleshoot, debug, and fix Talend-specific issues.Essential Skills and Experience:Experience of CI/CD in Talend using Jenkins and Nexus.Knowledge of TAC configuration with LDAP, Job servers, Log servers, database.Knowledge of GIT repository, creating user and roles and experience in providing access to them.Ability to deploy objects using Nexus and push them across execution servers.Knowledge of setting up connectivity to Big Data, EC2, RDS, EMR, Netezza etc.Expertise in setting-up multi-tenancy across Nexus, SVN, execution server, etc.Package;£70kDiscretionary Bonus SchemePermanent Health InsurancePrivate Medical SchemeLife AssuranceCycle to Work SchemeEmployee Discount SchemeTalend Administrator - £70k + Bonus + Excellent Bens - Hybrid (Glasgow)
