Full time permanent roleThis client with depots and offices based throughout the UK is seeking an experienced Storeman with ideally a Forklift or Telehandler license to understand and execute the receipt and storage of materials and equipment, repairs and supporting the logisticsstrategy for the projects,Job responsibilitiesActively controlling materials and stock locations in accordance with stock Management Systems (Training will be provided)Interface to the Site teams and the timely ordering of tools, materials, and equipment through the project office.Receiving, controlling, storing and issue of materials, supplies and equipmentMaintaining the spares according to project instructionsCompilation and maintenance of records of supply transactionsMarkings of stores items in general for identificationDespatch of items for repair, servicing, and calibrationGoods receipt of stock items back from repairOrganising the testing and recertification of SparesQualifications:Experience in a stores management role (essential)Previous experience of railway or construction projectsAbility to work well both in a team and independently alongside prioritising busy workload (essential),Experience of driving Forklift strongly preferredStrong IT skillsUK Driving LicenceFlexible approach towards working duties Excellent written and verbal communication skills
