I am working with a growing software product company in Glasgow who are looking to recruit an experienced Software Project Manager to the team.The company:The company are 30 years old and have recently grown to around 150 staff, with steady growth across the business. They operate within the Financial Services sector and create a specific type of platform and product. Their software helps to automate a processand saves the client valuable time - as well as cutting operating costs in half.The company are based in central Glasgow and are continuing to grow their tech team. They have an experienced and healthy software development team inhouse, and you will work closely alongside them. This role is a hybrid position and they are looking forsomeone to be in the Glasgow office twice a week. The role also comes with good benefits including strong holidays (34), a discretionary bonus and private health care.The role:This is a Senior Software Project Manager role, looking for an individual with a strong software background (ideally SaaS). You will be a key part of the team that helps to implement the software, and will have a key understanding of the implementation lifecycle.You will be responsible for managing end-to-end technical delivery projects through effective estimation and planning, management of resources, budget management and risk mitigation strategies.You will work closely with the Software, Customer Success, Marketing and Delivery teams to provide a complete service and be able to identify potential opportunities. On top of this, you will be working alongside those teams to facilitate the resolutionof issues, managing queries and coming to a positive outcome. As this is a senior role, the expectation is also to be comfortable with presenting and liaising at C level, both internally and externally.Your background:** Strong software delivery experience across project management** Software Implementation background (ideally SaaS also)** Strong collaborator who can work across all areas of the business from Pre-sales through to Delivery and onto Customer Success** Extensive experience in documenting and maintaining project plans, risk/issue logs, action logs etc** Ideally strong Waterfall, Agile and Scrum knowledge** End to end software delivery/full software implementation lifecycle knowledge** Financial services knowledge (bonus)This is an opportunity to work with a thriving and employee-first organisation.
