Job Description

Senior Project ManagerINSIDE IR35Up to £600 p/dGlasgow/Perth - Hybrid (once/twice a week onsite)6 monthsASAP StartWe are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager who can work on various projects from a cloud migration to less technical work.Responsibilities:

  • The end-to-end delivery of the relevant projects using best practice methodologies, ensuring effective control over costs and resourcing enabling the delivery of projects to budget, quality, and time.
  • Management of 3rd parties, acting as a routine contact point between organisation and supplier.
  • Analyse problems, action, and progress issues as appropriate, ensuring follow through to resolution.
  • Monitor contract performance, manage underperformance and escalate where necessary.
  • Ensure that IT/business strategy, policy and standards are adhered to, thus achieving commonality and ease of maintenance.
  • Provide regular updates against targets to demonstrate performance and progress against the project plan.
  • Maintain and manage internal and external project dependencies and stakeholders.
  • Develop countermeasures and contingency plans associated with significant project risk.
Essential Experience/Skills:
  • Worked with both Agile and Waterfall.
  • On prem to cloud migration experience, ideally with Azure.
  • End to end management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management from internal to challenging 3rd
  • Managed budgets of approx. £1.5mil.
Desirable Experience/Skills:
  • Previously worked in the Utilities experience.
  • Understands business change.
  • An interest in sustainability/carbon neutrality.
