Job Description

CEN Resources are currently working in partnership with a design engineering firm who specialise in extremely complexed projects within the infrastructure, process and built environment sectors. Our client has experienced significant growth over the past2-3 years within its Building Services department and due to upcoming project awards, this continues to be an exciting time for our client.As a result, our client is now looking to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Building Services team in the Glasgow area.Responsibilities

  • Support & lead the delivery of Electrical services scope of work across multiple Building Services projects
  • Carry out electrical design from concept to completion
  • Actively contribute to the development and growth of the department.
  • Carry out technical design reviews / critiques of projects in progress.
  • Support the design planning, resourcing and fee planning of specific project teams
  • Participate in effective presentations to external organisations, customers and peer groups
  • Contribute to bids by providing knowledge of specific discipline
  • Assist in the training, development and support of junior members of the team
  • Provide feedback on the performance of the department from a technical and operational perspective
  • Contribute to departmental development when requested to do so
  • Participate in knowledge sharing across team and locations
  • Keep up to date with design trends and competitor awareness
Skills & Experience
  • Proven track record in Electrical services design within the Building Services sector
  • Solid experience of project delivery across a variety of sectors
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fully conversant with technical and legislation requirements for Electrical services equipment and installation design and management
  • Ability to demonstrate the delivery of design studies
  • Experienced of working with external design and vendors
  • Ability to understand and approve technical calculations
  • Experience with Dialux, Amtec or Revit is an advantage
