Based in the firm’s London, Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh or Glasgow offices, this is an exciting Business Development Executive or Senior Executive role working for an award-winning, commercial law firm. The role involves providing day-to-day, hands-onmarketing and BD support for the Financial Services Sector.The role holder will have the opportunity to be part of a fast paced, fast growing and forward-thinking law firm which has a collaborative, supportive and open-minded environment and is a great place to progress a career. Working closely with the Senior Business Development Manager for Financial Services, lawyers and the wider BD team, you will drive and supportbusiness development initiatives. Managing BD budgets for the sector, the Business Development Executive or Senior Executive will work as part of a team to implement the Financial Services strategic BD plan to support the growth of the financial services sectornationally and assist Business Development Managers on proposals and presentations to support new sales opportunities. You will help to develop client plans, implementing actions from client team meetings, and will work closely with industry bodies to developthe firm’s relationships. On the marketing side, the successful candidate will work with the wider team on the development of marketing campaigns. You will manage marketing communications and create credentials documents, sector reports, e-marketing updates,website content and manage social media channels. You will work with the firm’s Press Office to identify opportunities and capitalise on PR opportunitiesand create and manage internal communications materials including regular newsletters, intranet articlesand sector reports. Managing the legal directory process for FS service lines will represent an important aspect of the role and you will also work on an active calendar of events across the firms UK locations including sector conferences, training events,hosted events, corporate hospitality and internal events.You will be a bright graduate or equivalent, with proven experience working in business development ideally gained in a professional services environment. Enthusiastic, confident, pro-active, tenacious and robust, you must possess good organisational skillsand excellent copywriting, editing, proof-reading and interpersonal skills, gaining respect and credibility quickly. The Business Development Executive or Senior Executive will also be able to assimilate large amounts of information quickly and will enjoyworking under pressure as part of a fast-paced team to drive projects through to completion.Leighton Taylor promotes diversity, equality and fair treatment in all aspects of our work.
