Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow/Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Admin Officer until 31st January 2024 on a rate of £15.46 - £19.26/hour PAYE. The working hours are 37.5 hours per week. This role willbe remote, but attendance may be required onsite in Edinburgh or Glasgow.Responsibilities:- Supporting the team with their planned programme of educational events and resources.- Assisting the team to provide support to the learner base and faculty, including moderation of submissions and delegation of admin tasks.- Providing leadership and frontline support for face to face and online educational activities.- Line management of administration staff.- Day to day budget management activities including delegated responsibility for specific tasks.Essential Skills:- Previous experience in a similar role. - Demonstrable experience of providing high level administrative support to Senior Management and communicating with stakeholders and audiences at every level.- High level of written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presentation skills and the ability to deliver training.- Experience of managing complex issues at a corporate level.- Day to day budget monitoring/management and line management experience.- Experience supporting face to face and online educational events.- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own and others work effectively including supervisory skills.- Awareness of Data Protection legislation and appreciation of the need for discretion and confidentiality in the workplace.- Advance level of IT skills and experience using the following software: MS Office, MS Teams, Articulate, Camtasia and WeVideo.- Good interpersonal skills, including persuasion and motivation.- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.Desirable Skills:- HND/Advanced Diploma level qualification with in-depth experience or SCQF Level 8 equivalence obtained via Professional Development Awards (e.g CIPD); Technical Apprenticeships; and SVQs- Prior experience working with eLearning Storyboards,- Experience working in an educational environment and running education using Teams Live.- A good working knowledge of General PracticeIf you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
