A UK leading multidisciplinary consultancy focussing on renewable energy and environmental projects with expertise in Ecology, EIA, Planning, marine Energy and Onshore renewable energy have a requirement for an Acoustic Consultant to help grow their noisecapabilities out of their Scotland based office. To be considered for the role you must possess previous Acoustic consultancy experience relating to windfarm developments and other areas of renewables environmental noise to standards specified in ETSU-R-97.Salary:Dependent on experienceExperienceYou will have performed windfarm noise assessments to the standards specified in ETSU-R-97 and had these assessments included in planning submissions;You will be confident in your knowledge and be able to provide advice to internal and external clients not only on the technical assessment of windfarm noise but also how this will be assessed within the planning system;You will be aware of planning guidance, understand the importance of the planning context and be able to research project policy tests;You will have experience in other areas of environmental acoustic consultancyYou will have carried out business development activities and be prepared to grow the offering with the demands of internal projects.DutiesPredict, monitor, and give impartial professional advice on all aspects of noise from wind farms Carry out acoustic assessments, noise measurements and surveys, and site inspections with an emphasis on ETSU-R-97 wind farm assessments.
