Sales Estimator - Timber Windows & Doors Job Title: Sales Estimator - Timber Windows & DoorsIndustry Sector: Sales Estimator, Sales, Estimator, Timber Windows, Windows, Metal Windows, Timber Doors, Metal Doors, Fenestration, Architects, Specifiers, Designers, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, Specification, Restoration, Sash Windows, CasementWindows, Heritage Windows, Traditional Windows, French Doors, Tilt & Turn, Lift & SlideLocation: Glasgow or surrounding areasRemuneration: £25,000 - £30,000Benefits: Comprehensive Benefits PackageThe role of the Sales Estimator - Timber Windows & Doors will involve:

  • Sales estimator position, selling a high quality range of timber windows and doors
  • Predominantly dealing with main contractors and housebuilders
  • The remainder of your time will be dealing with architects and specifying consultants
  • Dealing with inbound enquiries and understanding the clients needs
  • Producing detailed costings collation and presentation of tenders
  • Produce quotations and follow up to convert the sale
  • Ensure that all estimates are documented correctly and updated as projects progress
  • Dealing with a range of order values of £500 up to £1m
  • The role will initially be 100% office based
The ideal applicant will be Sales Estimator - Timber Windows & Doors with:
  • Ideally will have estimating experience working within the windows and doors market sector, however this isnt essential
  • Must be familiar with building regulations
  • Must be able to interpret floor plans/ technical drawings
  • Must be an outgoing relationship builder
  • Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • A dynamic, ambitious approach to sales and securing business
  • Excellent attention to detail and methodical organisation skills
  • Able to work within a team and autonomously
