Job Description

Renewable Energy Analyst - HybridRef OJ0010Competitive salary + benefitsThis is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Renewable Energy Analyst to join a highly skilled team committed to high quality working standards and ethics near Glasgow. Our client is offering a permanent role with opportunities to progress and growwith the company.To be considered for this Renewable Energy Analyst role you will;

  • Be confident using Microsoft packages
  • Have strong statistical analysis skills
  • Have experience with wind energy resource assessment software such as WAsP, / Windographer, WindPro, WindFarm / Windfarmer, or CFD modelling
  • Have experience with solar resource assessment software such as PVSol /PVSyst
  • Have A Degree or Masters qualification in highly numerate disciplines eg Engineering, physics, mathematics, meteorology
  • Have great attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication;
  • Have drive and enthusiasm and a positive attitude to problem solving
Working as a Renewable Energy Analyst you will;
  • Manage Energy Yield Assessments for both development and operating projects
  • Oversee Power Curve & Noise warranty checks for new projects
  • Design site measurement campaigns using both meteorological masts or RSD
  • Complete regular project performance monitoring
  • Liaise with turbine and solar suppliers
  • Evaluate upgrades and improvements to both hardware and software/settings
  • Develop and implement high quality reporting formats
  • Develop analysis techniques to support asset and operations management needs
