Reliability Engineer Glasgow £40,000 - £50,000 + Company Pension + Holidays + Specialist Industry Training + Discretionary Bonus Do you have previous experience in maintaining industrial plant and improving long-term plant performance through continuous process techniques and Root Cause Analysis Are you looking for the next step up in your profession where you can engage in a technically complex role that will see you creating a lot of value for your career as you make a name for yourself in the thriving Renewable Energy industry This leading renewable energy company specialises in the production of biofuel from natural waste and operates several plants across the UK and further afield. They have received significant investment in recent years and are growing steadily in line with theincreasing demand for renewable biofuels. In this position you will be taking a leading role that will see you responsible for identifying, logging, managing, rectifying and preventing long-term or bigger picture technical issues that could otherwise effect plant availability, efficiency and KPIs. The ideal candidate will have a HNC or Degree level qualification in mechanical engineering (or similar), will have an IOSH/NEBOSH or similar H&S qualification, will have at least 4 years experience in a chemical/process plant environment and will be comfortablewith things such as RCA, FMEA and TPM. The role: * Ensuring reliability, maintainability and availability industrial-scale chemical process plant * Carrying out Root Cause Analysis on plant failures and providing long-term solutions * Overseeing implementation of solutions and use of Continuous Improvement techniques * Using CMMS (Ultimo) to guide PPM on critical rotating plant * Managing spares strategy to ensure all equipment is well stocked * Supporting with contractor selection and management process * Supporting with technical development and review of engineering staff * Ensuring adherence to HSE guidelines, policies and procedures on site The person: * Educated to HNC or Degree level in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline * IOSH/NEBOSH or similar H&S qualification * Minimum 4 years experience in chemical/process plant environment e.g Oil & Gas, Wastewater * Solid understanding of majority of: RCA, OEE, TPM, FMEA techniques * Knowledge of CMMS Reference Number: BBBH159479 To apply for this role or to be considered for further roles, please click "Apply Now" or contact Stuart Goble at Rise Technical Recruitment.
