My client in Investment Banking needs a multi-talented developer for their Glasgow office on a long term contract.Essentially looking for someone that will focus on designing and developing highly available and scalable solutions to manage the firm wide storage repository including storage provisioning, monitoring, alerting, auditing, inventorying, etcThey want someone with:- A strong background in Python Development- Great infrastructure experience- Deep Linux/Unix experience - System architecture experience in UNIX/Windows Server, Containers (e.g., Kubernetes), and Cloud- Previous experience in an investment bank- Good use of automation toolsAdditonal requirements- Storage experience (Prefereable) - Storage technologies like Fibre Channel, ISCSI, etc- (Azure/AWS/Google) is a plus- Understanding of Client/Server, virtualization, and troubleshooting skills is preferredThis is a 12-month contract paying £636 per day, requiring 2 days a week in the Glasgow office.
