Reed Scientific is exclusively partnering with a Glasgow based company who are at the forefront of the biotech industry.The company are now looking to add an experienced formulation chemist to their expanding team. The exciting role will be formulating new biological and chemical products for the purpose of pest management and increasing crop yields.As the formulation chemist you’ll be playing a pivotal role within the company, working on new and existing formulations, with the opportunity to do real blue sky thinking at the beginning, but also working collaboratively with the rest of the company withhow to commercialise an end product.As the successful applicant you’ll be PhD educated in a chemistry based subject and will have expertise in formulating and designing products. Any experience with biologically active peptides would be advantageous but not essential.The company will pay a salary up to £45,000/annum dependent upon experience level along with a range of other company benefits.
