-Oracle DBA / Database Administrator-Glasgow with remote-6 Month Initial Contract-ASAP Start-Excellent day rates (via umbrella)An opportunity has opened up for an Oracle DBA / Database Administrator to join the existing team and help support some key phases of work that are on the horizon.The role will be responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of the Production and Development Oracle and Solaris environments, implementation of any changes required and the provision of SME knowledge. You will also support the wider business as and when requiredIn addition to this, you will provide production support, troubleshoot issues, restoring service and defining and implementing fixes. You will also be required to raise change requests and know when to escalate incidents into problem tickets.Skills Required;-Knowledge and experience of working with Oracle 11/12 and ideally 19c-Performed upgrade from 11/12 - 19c-Use of Oracle Enterprise Manager and Diagnostics & Tuning packs-Knowledge and experience of working with Solaris 11-Maintaining, updating and tuning Weblogic middleware-Oracle DBA experience-Production and Support experience (ideally)-Dataguard experience-GoldenGate skills-Unix skillsIf you are keen to find out further detail around this opportunity, please forward an updated CV to
