Job Description

My client is seeking an Ecommerce Marketplace Manager, youll report to our company directors and be responsible for crafting and implementing strategies that maximize revenue on Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) online marketplaces, including eBay, Debenhams, B&Q,and OnBuy. The role is up to £50k, plus a 10% bonus (Dependant on Experience).The company is an online retailer with multiple consumer brands, offering a range of products from homeware to beauty. They believe in providing modern, purposeful products at fair prices, making it easier for people to improve their homes without sacrificingtheir savings.Your day-to-day tasks will involve:

  • tracking and analyzing sales data conversion rates, and other relevant metrics to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Youll provide regular performance reports to internal stakeholders, collaborate with marketing activities, plan and execute promotional campaigns to boost traffic and sales, maintain consistent branding across all marketplace channels, and ensure inventorylevels and pricing strategies are well-managed.
  • Cultivating relationships with marketplace representatives, monitoring customer reviews, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities will also be key responsibilities.
  • Youll explore new online marketplaces that align with our brands target audience and products, optimise non-performing listings, and ensure compliance with marketplace-specific policies.
They are are looking for someone with essential experience in online marketplaces:
  • particularly eBay, and valuable experience in other marketplaces.
  • Managing our brands presence across these platforms requires a blend of commercial expertise, knowledge of digital marketing principles, and strong analytical skills.
