Role: Network Engineer Hours: Monday to Friday Office HoursRate: £340 per day Location: Renfrew, Scotland 2 to 3 days p/w and remainder remote.We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer to join our client in Renfrew on an initial 3 month contract with likely extensions. This role is 2 to 3 days in the office and the remainder will be remote. Alongside this, you should have experience oftechnical problem solving & troubleshooting, Network Infrastructure capacity planning and Management of technical and virtual project teams.This Role is inside IR35 and therefore we can accept umbrella contractors onlyOverview* Day-to-day network operations for EMEA networks* Troubleshooting issues* Modifying firewall rules and routing* Monitor network security and respond to incidents* Monitor network availability and manage supplier remedy of incidents* Architect new solutions within the EMEA WAN and site LANs* Configure new equipment in the data centres* Participate in project meetings with major clients to support networking aspects.Experience* WAN / LAN Design and Migration Experience* Cisco certification desirable* Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Design (AWS / Azure) Integration* Knowledge and exposure to Palo Alto and SDWan* Managed infrastructure delivering IT services* Management of complex LAN / WAN / Firewall environments in conjunction with 3rd party providers.* Operated as service provider to internal and external customers* Operated in 1000+ user environment in management role* Implemented large infrastructure change projects"In applying for this position, you consent to your personal data being shared with the specified employer and for your details to remain with GTS for as long as is necessary to process your application.
