Job Description

I am recruiting for a Molecular diagnostics manufacturing organisation who are aiming to hire an experienced GMP / ISO13485 manufacturing professional to manage their molecular manufacturing team. The individual will be an important part of the senior managementteam with the main focus responsible for technical and supervisory support within the department ensuring the effectiveness, efficiency of the process and delivering a high quality biological product.The main duties of the role include:

  • Being a technical point of contact for clinical and commercial manufacturing
  • Providing technical direction and supervision of batch manufacturing
  • Ensure final products and processes are delivered to ISO13485
  • Ensuring a safe and productive manufacturing environment
  • Making suggestions to develop and enhance the manufacturing processes
  • Undertaking reviews associated with CAPA. deviations and OOS
  • Supporting process improvement and continuous improvement projects
  • Undertaking induction and training of staff in Manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures
  • Participating in internal, external and client audits
  • Supporting the recruitment, induction, management and development of the manufacturing team
  • Providing support to junior staff
The succesful candidate will have an IVD manufacturing background working to ISO13485 standards.
