MGAs are playing an increasingly important role in the modern commercial insurance market, so its an exciting place to be if you are an Underwriter.Working quickly, adapting to continued changes, accessing niche markets and innovating at pace - all attributes of a quality MGA.Its these benefits that are recognised by the broking space which is driving their ongoing expansion and success.One such player is growing their Scottish book and looking for two new Commercial Underwriters to be based out of Glasgow.Here youll be based out of modern, city centre offices in Glasgow and become part of the regional Scottish team.Working closely with the existing broker panel, youll be working predominantly with P&C business although youll have scope to get involved in niche areas such as financial lines and cyber.If you are a bit fatigued by the corporate culture and hierarchy of a composite insurer, then youll thrive in the more dynamic and responsive set up here.Ideally, youll have a strong underwriting background in commercial insurance with existing knowledge and relationships across the main Scottish broking players.Salary to £47,000 plus package.
