New and Exciting opportunity to work within a UK-based international company seeking a talented Systems Administrator / DevOps/ SRE to contribute to their cutting-edge projects.Reporting directly to the Head of Technology, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse team and make a real impact in the tech industry.Position: Linux Systems Administrator / DevOps / SRELocation: Remote (UK-based applicants only)Salary: Up to £50,000 per annumKey Responsibilities:* Support and enhance production platform solutions.* Recommend improvements to live infrastructure and operational practices.* Implement and maintain continuous integration processes in collaboration with the development team.* Create and update comprehensive documentation.* Diagnose and resolve infrastructure outages promptly.* Collaborate with the development team to enhance DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.Required Skills:* Degree or high-level qualification in Computer Science/IT or equivalent industry experience.* Proficiency in Linux systems administration, including firewall configuration and hardening (preferably Ubuntu).* Experience in network design, administration, and troubleshooting.* Familiarity with web server configuration (preferably Apache) and database management (Postgres and MySQL).* Ability to oversee projects from inception to completion.* Experience with configuration management using IT automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible, etc.* Proficiency in shell scripting.* Hands-on experience managing cloud providers (DigitalOcean preferred).* Familiarity with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.* Self-motivated, organized, and able to work effectively in a remote environment.Nice-to-Have Skills:* Familiarity with Azure, PowerBi.* Experience with monitoring tools such as Monit/Zabbix.* Knowledge of ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, or other security frameworks.
