Job Description

MDH have a full-time laundry job available in the Govan area of Glasgow. This job is with a very small, family-owned business who treat their colleagues with respect and dignity.You will be responsible for the laundry service of table clothes, napkins and various pieces of linen to a very high standard.£10.42 per hour - Weekly pay. Optional overtime paid at £15.63This role is 40 hours guaranteed per week until Christmas. At that point, you could potentially be transferred over to a full-time role.Responsibilities:

  • Sort and wash laundry according to colour, fabric, and type
  • Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment
  • Fold, hang, and package laundry for delivery.
  • Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a laundry or similar setting preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of laundry chemicals and their proper usage would be a big advantage.
