Job Description

Morgan Hunt are working with a leading Glasgow city centre based success story. This software organisation has expanded heavily over the last 12 months and has won a number of awards as a great place to work.This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate software Developer (12 months + experience) to work for a software & professional services organisation and learn new technologies/development languages and work with the best.As part of this companys growth journey to industry leader, as a software Developer you will join a small but growing team where you will continuously learn multiple languages and technologies. This is a great opportunity that will enable you to work alongside a highly skilled technical team and with some of the latest technology, concepts and methodologies.Your role will involve you in:

  • code optimisation and performance tuning
  • Innovate approaches to data
  • Developing integration solutions for new and existing clients.
    • As a software Developer, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • A fully flexible Developer but with core skills in enterprise Java.
  • Able to learn and adapt quickly to multiple languages and technologies.
  • Have some knowledge of Agile
    • Any knowledge of the following would be a real advantage, but willingness learn new technology is key:
  • Familiarity with interface design (or the ability to learn.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code.
  • Computer Science or be an Engineering graduate.
