Job Description

Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation in Scotland, is currently looking to recruit 2x HR Business Partners for initial 6 month contracts on a rate of £16.91-£20.83/hour (inside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances these roles willbe remote based for the duration of the contract.Responsibilities:- To support the Lead Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to enable HR to provide an exemplar customer service, in particular for employee relations; managing project / programmes of work in a team lead capacity and to liaise confidentially with key stakeholders.- To provide management of the HR Teams workload and day to day activities.- To manage Employee Relations cases, in particular lead on Absence Management cases, and also at Informal Stage, and Stages 1 & 2 of relevant policies e.g. Grievance and Disciplinary.- To support the HR Team with complex query resolution/complaints often sensitive in nature, emanating from the service desk.- To manage TUPE and organizational change programmes- To be responsible and accountable for the establishment control aspects of HR to ensure that data accuracy is maintained at the highest level, to include being the lead approver for request to fill business cases.- Analyse data and develop reports.- To manage and develop the HR Team to measurable performance standards that are identified and set by yourself.- To be able to develop and apply policies / processes confidently.- To support the design and implementation of HR services being optimised digitally, and enabling the roll out of self serve, and helpdesk capability.- To be able to liaise confidently with key stakeholders.- To be the lead signatory and therefore accountable and responsible for transactional services.- Will be required to travel in Scotland.Essential Skills:- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience- Experience in embedding change and developing the culture in an organisation- Evidence of professional HR expertise to include employment law, immigration, equal opportunities- Experience in managing Employee Relations cases- Experience in TUPE and organisational change programmes- Experience of line management and supervision- Proven expertise in accessing, analysing and presenting a wide range of complex information to range of audiences.- Proven expertise in accessing, analysing and presenting a wide range of information- Experience of writing policies and operational procedures - Experience of undertaking recruitment campaigns and providing advice to managers on business case proposals.- Evidence of undertaking research- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Excellent interpersonal skills- Additional management training, specialist knowledge and in-depth experience of recruitment processes, project management and administrative management in providing an exemplar service.- Ability to prioritise workload, delegate and manage own time effectively- Ability to demonstrate initiative and a creative and innovative approach to problem solving- Ability to manage projects/programmes/initiatives at various stages of development.- Ability to develop and work in partnerships- Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of development- Knowledge of business planning and experience of strategic workforce planning and resourcing- Ability to summarise complex issues in concise and easily understood fashion- High standard of digital skills, including Microsoft Office packages- Excellent Numeracy and analytical skills- Leadership skills- Organisational and forward planning skills- Thorough knowledge of internal control procedures- Ability to work confidentially with discretion.- Ability to work with minimal supervision using broad policies- Ability to work within a complex and dynamically changing team- Evidence of continuing professional developmentDesirable Skills:- CIPD qualified and/or evidence of professional expertise- Previous public sector experienceIf you would like to hear more about these opportunities please get in touch.
