Job Description

We are recruiting for Hire Desk Controllers! My client is based in Glasgow City Centre who are looking to expand their rapidly growing team. We are looking for candidates who have experience in working in a high volume, fast paced customer service or sales driven environment.You will be the go to person for client and colleagues! Acting as the in-between for both parties! With this in mind you will be a driven, well organised, customer focused individual with an eye for detail!Your day will include ...

  • Ensuring all business between clients and the company are carried out in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Daily administration duties including high volume spreadsheets
  • Liaising with customers and colleagues over the phone and email
  • Producing weekly reports from detailed notes taken from customers
  • Raising contracts and discussing with customers
  • Authorising purchase invoices
  • Working within a fast paced environment ensuring deadlines are met
  • High volume call enquiries
What skills and experience would I need
  • Candidates with construction industry experience will excel in this role however, this experience is not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and able to analyse data and produce reports
  • Ability to work under pressure and within a volume environment is vital
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages especially Excel

  • Competitive salary £21 to £24k and bi annual bonus scheme available
  • Working 8am - 4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 3:45 pm on a Friday with alternative fortnights being 8:45 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Thursday and 9:15 am - 5pm on a Friday
