HGV Class 2 Recovery TechnicianLocation: Glasgow, G42 0PG.Salary: Basic £30k per annum plus overtime available. £12.75PH while training and £12.75 + £1.25 PH Bonus upon completion. Contract: Full and Part TimeHours: 12 Hour shift on 4 days On - 4 days Off Rota shift systemA fantastic opportunity is available for a Recovery technician to join this prestigious Breakdown & Recovery Organization. Based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh the successful candidate can earn in excess of £35,000 per annum.When it comes to breakdown and recovery, we are a house-hold name. The candidate will join this hardworking and welcoming team.As a Recovery Technician your main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:• Safely Loading and securing vehicles involved in Road Traffic Accidents and other incidents both on & off road• Reaching broken-down vehicles in a timely manner• Transporting broken down vehicles from the roadside to a designated drop off point in a safe and secure manner• Assisting members in a stressful time of needTo be considered for the role of Recovery Technician you must be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.Essential skills:• Customer focused and positive attitude• Ability to take instructions• Good communication skills• Flexible and adaptable• Attention to detailThe company requires all candidates to have recent Class 2 driving experience.We are also looking for candidates who are experienced certificated Hiab OperatorsRecovery industry experience is not required as full training will be given.Benefits:• Induction training• Continued training throughout employment• Onsite parking• OTE OF £35,000Shifts: Day, back and night shifts are available and will include weekend working as part of the roster.Vetting: All candidates will be fully vetted once a conditional offer of employment has been signed.
