The role: - Surgical Assistant/ Hair Transplant NurseLocation: - GlasgowThe company: - Independent SurgerySalary: - Up to £32k (dependant on relevant previous experience) Hours: - 8.00am to 4.00pm/9.00am to 17.00 - Monday to Friday + 2 Saturdays per monthTo be considered for this position candidates must be experienced in one of the following areas: -* Nursing (medical or dental)* Minor surgical experience* Hair TransplantJob Benefits -* Continuous training with professional development* Career opportunities for those who wish to develop their personal careers within an excellent medical infrastructure* Growth opportunities and excellent working environmentQualifications required -* Nursing degree (desirable)The role -* Pre-op consultations and hair assessments* Carrying out the FUE procedure with the aid of hair technicians* Preparing clients for procedures* Assisting physicians with marking recipient site prior to placement* Harvesting grafts for FUE* Preparing and counting grafts for placement, using magnification, and maintaining graft integrity* Decontamination of instruments and ensuring all hygiene/covid-19 practices are adhered to* Ensuring all supplies and materials are on hand and stock is maintained* Maintaining and updating patient records * Provide high standard of care encompassing the whole patient journey.Personal attributes/skills required : -* Handling all cases with both tact and discretion* Handling confidential information - adhering to GDPR* Ability to empathise with anxious patients and adapt service to their needs* Enthusiasm and desire to learn new skills are necessary* Caring disposition and be able to work well under pressure* Working as part of a team and providing consistent support to the physicianIf you have the relevant experience and would like to be considered for this role please apply today!Office Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
