A skilled Full Stack Developer, ideally with good knowledge of Angular and Java or Scala, is required for a well-established Software House in Glasgow City Centre. Opportunity to join a brand-new R&D focused squad, at an organisation that offer a great work-lifebalance (which includes a 4-day working week). Theyre well-established (theyve been going for almost two decades now) and are considered market leaders in their field. They are financially very stable, in fact theyve added several new Developers to the business over the last few months, and are stillhiring for more. The company have really started to scale up their Development function over the past year or so on the back of some very strong financial months.This role will sit in a brand-new squad for the organisation, and will be very R&D focused. Your role will focus on experimental development, as youll be tasked to design, develop and showcase new prototypes for the business. If youre looking to code 100%of the time then this isnt the role for you - but if youre someone that really gets passionate about investigating ideas or concepts and would enjoy trying to develop these into working solutions, then this could be a really good fit. Youll ideally have at least a couple years of commercial experience building web-applications (any experience in an R&D environment would be great, but not expected). Its really important you can work across the full stack though, as youll be the first Developerin this squad, although they are looking to steadily grow over the next few months, at first you wont have many others to lean on. Youll ideally have experience with the following; ** Angular (open to ReactJS or VueJS instead though). ** HTML, CSS and TypeScript. ** Java (or ideally Scala). The following is highly beneficial;** Graph DBs ** Experience developing Full Stack Angular Web ApplicationsTheir offices are based in Glasgow City Centre, although they have adopted really well to working remotely - so you can work fully remote (providing you in are the UK) or from the Glasgow office. They also offer very flexible working hours and a 4-day workingweek (so a Monday or Friday off each week).This is a great role for an ambitious Developer looking to join a very fast-growing organisation at a really exciting time.
