Job Description

Finance Manager Search Consultancy are partnered with a leading financial services firm who are undergoing an exciting period of change, leading to several new hires.They are looking to hire a new Finance Manager who will manage a small team. More importantly this position will take on board a large business partnering aspect alongside the day to day team management.Duties:

  • Assist with the preparation of IFRS reporting for both the group and statutory accounts
  • Business partnering with senior budget holders providing budget advice and forecasts
  • Advising on the financial outcome and risk of strategic plans and decisions
  • Involvement with strategic projects and leading ad hoc projects
  • Responsible for managing the timely delivery of the month end reporting process
  • Responsible for the year end audit and statutory accounting processes
  • Managing a small finance team
  • Act as a key member of the finance leadership team
Requirements:
  • Previous financial services or professional firm environment preferred, but not essential
  • Qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA, CA, CIMA)
  • Business partnering experience and the ability to liaise with senior leadership
  • Experience leading and motivating teams
  • Experience of identifying and implementing process and control improvements
