Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Finance Business Analyst to join my client based in Glasgow City Centre. This is a 12 month contract initially. You will be office based in Glasgow City Centre, whilst also having hybrid working as an option. The salary forthis role will range from £22,210 to £26,415 DOE.To be considered you must have:

  • Excellent communications skills whilst being comfortable speaking with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Intermediate excel experience working with troubleshoot,v-look ups and macros
  • An understanding that you have to work and abide by legislations and laws
  • Experience / Involvement / thorough understanding of Business Analysis and ways of working on a complex Finance system project that integrates systems, data, and reporting
  • Positive, Proactive, succinct, clear Stakeholder/Customer relationship management
  • Be able to build and sustain relationships/ focus to project delivery
  • Strong mathematical skills
Desirables include:
  • Experience (As Implement/As User) of Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS)
  • If no FCCS experience, then the same for an alternative consolidation and close system e.g. HFM (Hyperion)/Cognos Controller
  • Oracle Fusion (ERP) or Oracle PBCS
  • Experience/Knowledge of the Group Finance / Business Unit (Divisional) consolidation process
  • Experience/Knowledge of Group Reporting/External Financial Reporting - Statutory accounting.
