As a Barclays ETL Developer, you be joining our IT Compliance team and the role will operate across the Global Compliance Technology arm of the bank, with the aim of ensuring that all regulatory, risk and control functions within the bank comply with newor amended regulatory requirements. You will analyse, develop or enhance ETL applications with all standard controls in agile environment. What youll be doing Being responsible for code development and modifications in surveillance projects, working very closely with key stakeholders and managers Understanding and analysing requirements and providing estimations Designing solutions based on the business requirements Developing Surveillance components in Informatica Power Centre, SQL, Shell scripts, Perl, Python Deploying and test developed components on lower environments and prepare PROD releases Following TDD/BDD approach to ensure good scenario coverage Discussing with leads and BA team to resolve any ambiguities or doubts What were looking for: Excellent understanding of SQL, Stored Procedures, SQL Functions, Indexing Proven Solution Designing skills and analysis of Data Knowledge of Data warehousing concepts, ETL Design, Informatica PowerCenter Extensive knowledge of scheduling tools like Autosys/Control-M Skills that will help you in the role: Past experience working with Netezza Experience working with Ab Initio Knowledge of Perl and Python Where will you be workingOur new state-of-the-art Campus, right in the heart of Glasgow is a hub of creative collaboration.
