Permanent vacancy - Engineer (Electrically bias) Salary - £18.39 per hour - with shift allowance and overtime rates. Location - Hillington Shift patterns below - Monday - Friday Our client based in Hillington, are looking for an experienced Electrically Bias Engineer to join their busy and growing business. Please see below for more information Shift patterns as follows; Day shifts; Monday - Thursday 7.45am - 4.15pm Friday - 7.45am - 3.15pmBackshift; Monday - Wednesday 10.55am - 21.25pm Thursday 12.55pm - 22.25pm (overtime rate applies)Nightshift; Monday Wednesday 21.20pm - 7.50am Thursday 22.20 - 7.50am (overtime rate applies)Key Responsibilities, but not exclusive too* To assist maintenance department in undertaking scheduled and breakdown maintenance off all plant equipment* Respond to breakdowns and diagnosing of faults * Provide assistance in carrying out repairs and servicing company equipment * Ensure all relevant documentation is complete through qpulse * Ensure all work activities are carried out safely, reporting any hazards or near misses to your supervisor* Maintain high standard of housekeeping in your work environment, reporting any possible improvements to chargehand/supervisor/manager* Liaise with maintenance manager/supervisor/chargehand on progression of work * Ensure good working standards are maintained * Organize workshop area to ensure it is clean, tidy and workspace is properly utilized * Any other work requested by manager/supervisor or chargehand to ensure effective operation of the business * Provide assistance to other engineers and apprentices* Responsible for personal and general factory health and safety in line with the company health and safety policy outlined in the Company HandbookAbout the person* Team worker * Excellent communication skills * An ability to work under pressure* Problem solving skills * Knowledge Mechanical/Electrical modern apprenticeship or minimum * 3 years engineering experience Basic injection moulding process and function experience* Experience Mechanical or electrical fault finding experience * Packaging equipment Conveyors Material feeding systems spin welder fault finding and product set up extruder start up/shutdown and product change auto cells fault finding and product change core program set up * Pat testing General factory maintenanceIf you have experience as an Multiskilled or Electrically Bias Engineer and looking to work with a company with an excellent reputation, please give Louise a call on or .Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.Required skills
