As a Barclays Electronification Prime RTB Developer, you will support the Front Office trading operation and demand, frequently interacting with Front Office and Middleware Operations teams. You will ensure the continued availability and accuracy of productionsystems primarily for Prime Services and its related applications across a variety of functions. Managing coverage on crisis management calls, provide summaries on production issues and work with necessary development teams on resolutions. What will you be doing Working closely with Business, Development, Global Infrastructure and supporting vendors to facilitate the successful delivery of change to the production environment Taking ownership of issue escalations through to resolution or escalation, as appropriate. Following ITIL standards of Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management What were looking for: Prior experience with various operating systems such as Unix, Linux, and Windows Proven database experience with SQL Servers The ability to work with various coding languages such as Shell / Perl Scripting, SQL, PLSQL. As well as knowledge of Java and Middleware interfaces Working knowledge of Autosys, and PGP Encryption/Decryption Skills that will help you in the role: Prior client facing experience with an emphasis on communication and soft skills, ability to escalate issues Good analytical skills in investigating queries related to trading and settlement ITIL certified and able to demonstrate practical application of the ITIL principles into an Application Management function at a financial institution Where will you be workingOur new state-of-the-art Campus, right in the heart of Glasgow is a hub of creative collaboration.
