Job Description

My client is in search of an individual with a keen eye for detail to manage product merchandising on our online marketplaces and websites. This role involves taking responsibility for how our products are presented to customers and making the most of thenew features offered by each marketplace.The company is an online retailer with multiple consumer brands, offering a range of products from homeware to beauty. They believe in providing modern, purposeful products at fair prices, making it easier for people to improve their homes without sacrificingtheir savings.Your routine tasks will include implementing new products on each marketplace following best practices:

  • monitoring the organic performance of products and their search rankings using tools like Helium10 for Amazon.
  • Youll also conduct competitor research for focal products to provide feedback to the creative team, analyse underperforming products, and create action plans to improve their performance.
  • Optimising product feeds for various tools and services such as Facebook Business, Google Merchant Centre, and affiliate marketing platforms is part of the role, as is launching our brands on new marketplace platforms and managing inventory uploads.
Theyre seeking an individual who pays meticulous attention to detail, has a methodical approach to their work, and takes pride in maintaining the public appearance of our products.Given the nature of the role, proficiency in spreadsheets and a strong grasp of numbers (in an analytical context) are required.A professional level of written English is essential to avoid any unintentional grammatical errors. Experience with Shopify, Amazon, eBay, or any other Content Management System (CMS) is highly desirable.The company initially sold on Amazon and eBay, achieving substantial success in 2022. Now, they are aiming to expand into retail sectors, international markets, and new online marketplaces.
