Job Description

Employer description:Shearer Roofing, a growing Roofing & Building company based in Glasgow are actively recruiting for a Digital Systems Apprentice.Shearer Roofing Ltd is a family run business with offices conveniently located in both the Muirend and Jordanhill areas of Glasgow and recently expanded into Ayrshire. They have been serving Glasgow and the West End for over 30 years. From minor roof repairsto complete new roofs, they specialise in all aspects of roofing including solar panel installation, roughcasting, general building and property maintenance. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:

  • Being a first point of contact for customers by answering incoming calls, making out bound calls to customers and managing a centralised email inbox
  • Problem solving and providing digital support to members of the team on their bespoke systems and internal CRM
  • Booking appointments for surveyors using Schedule IT Booking system
  • Preparing and finalising customer quotations on MS Word
  • Using MS Excel for basic Data entry
  • Preparing customer quotations seeking answers to customer queries from surveyors
  • This role can require time being spent across both our offices as and when required mainly based at Jordanhill office
  • By the end of your apprenticeship, you will be an expert in Schedule IT and Microsoft office packages
You will need the following skills:

Salary:£13,312 - £17,888 per annumWorking hours:Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, 30 minute lunch breakBenefits:
