Meraki Talent are seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accounting Data Specialist to join a leading global bank, based in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the accurate and timely processing of financial data relatedto fund accounting. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of fund accounting principles. The Senior Fund Accounting Data Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatoryrequirements and internal policies while also optimizing processes for efficiency and accuracy.Management of medium size programs of work for Data initiatives within UK Fund Accounting will be a common requirement of the role, the individual will also be expected to play a key role representing the UK on wider transversal projects within the Data space.Senior client engagement will be a regular requirement within the role, where the appointed person will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in data to support client delivery evolution.Key duties will include;* Liaising with senior stakeholders to develop, plan and implement change initiatives.* Driving data initiatives within the Fund Accounting arena.* Building relationship with senior stakeholders to promote continuous improvement relating to data.* Managing strategic plans to increase the efficiency of Fund Accounting and the end client experience.* Using agile methodology to drive digital transformation* Developing a platform to track and share solutions and improvements* Analysing data* Working with the business to ensure changes are recorded and outcomes monitored.Ideally applicants will have come from a Fund Accounting or wider Financial Services background, with a strong working knowledge of data tools to gather and analyse data. Previous experience in driving and delivering change is essential, with effective riskmanagement a prerequisite for this opportunity.
