Crane TechnicianVictoria, Australia£35,000 per annumOur client is a leading equipment sales and hire business and currently have a role for a Crane Technician in Victoria, Australia. The role would suit individuals and families looking to relocate to Australia to start a new life in the sunshineMaintaining and repairing cranes of varying size, make and model. Assist in the assembly, disassembly and commissioning of crawler cranes and provide technical support to crane operators. The role includes both workshop based and field service activities, and the individual may at times be required to conduct shift work as business needs dictate.Role:*Assemble / Dismantle crawler and other cranes as per manufacturers specifications within crane manual and SWMS*Perform maintenance and repairs to cranes*Travel to local and remote sites to carry out field service and repairs*Use specialist tools and/or testing equipment as provided by company and manufacturer as they were designed*Ensure any bypassed for erection and transport safety devices are reinstated and functioning to specifications*Ensure all operations of cranes are undertaken safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions, codes of practice, Australian and site standards and proceduresTo be considered you will need to have relevant experience as a Crane Technician along with appropriate qualifications, tickets including Riggers Ticket and licences.
