Job Description

University of the West of ScotlandBusiness Transformation Manager (KTP Associate) Salary Range up to £40k per annum, £4k personal development budget, and an opportunity to register free to charge for a higher degree (Masters or PhD) during the period of the project.Based at Orb Group, Ibrox, with occasional travel to Paisley

The companyOrb Group, based in Glasgow, has 25+ years of experience in marketing services and global supply chain relationships for promotional merchandise and operates as a B2B2C business.The roleReporting directly to the Group Account Director, the role will enhance management capability and capacity. You will help streamline organisational structures, business processes and management systems and manage the team to help deliver increased productivity,resilience, and compliance to meet the business objectives.This position is both fast paced and multi-faceted, and the successful candidate must be able to work to changing priorities, deadlines and focus on multiple projects simultaneously.You will help support the Account Director with successful on-boarding of new client services and processes.   • A Bachelors or MSc degree with content which includes quality management, business improvement and lean management.
  • Strong background in process improvement, change management and quality management; evidenced by qualifications and/or experience; Practical experience in quality and business process improvements.
  • Knowledge of environmental management will also be advantageous.
  • Proven work experience ideally, with sound business and process improvement experience. Knowledge and experience of stock management and /or accounting would be beneficial.
  • Experience of business IT systems and management reporting / dashboarding.
  • Understanding the dynamics and challenges of growing a SME.
  • Good people management skills, with an ability to engage, motivate and inspire.
  • Ability to understand business drivers and how a project can contribute to company success.
