Search are delighted to be exclusively retained by Openbox - a digital transformation consultancy specialising in analysis, architecture and customer experience - to appoint a Business Development Director (BDD). As a senior individual contributor, the BDDwill win enterprise level business for the consultancy. The business is based in Glasgow however it is a client-facing role and would require frequent travel. We welcome applications from those based across the UK with strong transport links to the North andLondon.Openbox are equally capable of updating and upgrading existing digital products or creating new propositions from scratch. The force behind the organisation are the 2 founders, one from an impressive technical development and solutions architecture backgroundand the other coming with a wealth of experience and success across customer experience, product development and product management.This is a senior position and will be remunerated in line with that however to be clear, this is a full-service sales role. We anticipate frequent travel around the UK, fully expensed by the organisation, to facilitate meetings and generate revenue growth.We require candidates who are experienced in enterprise level engagements, with longer sales cycles and strong new business skills.Much of the recent requirement for their services has come from major financial services institutions and banks however, the services on offer are transferable across many other verticals, broadening the scope of background for potential candidates.The successful applicant must have experience selling into senior stakeholders with sign-off level authority over digital teams, mobile teams and CTO functions.
