Job Description

AWS Cloud Architect (IaC) Glasgow / WFH to £90kDo you have expertise with AWS You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a tech company that provide a range of software solutions for modern transport systems such as tap in / tap out.As an AWS Cloud Architect you will take ownership of the companys AWS cloud services and seek to expand their usage. Youll be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining infrastructure on AWS services, creating and implementing systems softwareto help scale and improve the systems. You collaborate with DevOps and development teams to identify and fix issues and streamline code deployment (CI/CD pipelines) and will also ensure the security of the cloud based infrastructure.Youll liaise with senior stakeholders in an influential, strategic role and will provide technical leadership to two Cloud Engineers.Location / WFH:Youll be based in the Glasgow office three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two days.Requirements:

  • You have expertise with AWS Cloud services, Amazon S3
  • You have experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
  • You have a good knowledge of DevOps and experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline
  • You have a good knowledge of Cloud security / SecOps
  • Youre familiar with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus and Grafana
  • You have a good knowledge of on-premise infrastructure e.g. Linux / Windows, SQL Server / PostgreSQL and networking (Routing, Subnetting, Site-to-Site VPN)
  • Youre collaborative and have excellent communication skills
