Assistant Project manager£350pd (Inside IR35)Thurso (WFH)1 yearAdvantage Resourcing are working in partnership with an organisation operating within the nuclear sector to find an Assistant Project manager to support client operations in a safe and secure clean up of the nuclear site.You will provide support and assistance to the Project Manager in the development and implementation of projects that are included within the Decommissioning Programme.The Decommissioning Programme is responsible for strategy development for the critical path elements of FCA decommissioning, including planning legacy facility decommissioning and enabling new build waste processing plant projects.The Job Holder will:* Support project management strategies, optimising plans to respond to changes when necessary.* Assist in the production and maintenance of the Programme baseline.* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to expedite safe project delivery.* Monitor internal and contractor performance against safety, costs, programme and quality, identify deviations and recommend remedial actions as appropriate.* Produce/co-ordinate project documentation including statement of requirements, project plans, technical specifications and project reports.Candidates should possess:* 3 years Nuclear/Industrial Engineering experience* 2 years contract management experience* Able to demonstrate good organisational and planning skills* Good general safety awareness* Sound interpersonal and communication skills* Ability to organise/co-ordinate staff/contract resourcesPlease note this role is WFH with infrequent visit to site.If you feel you meet the criteria apply.
