Job Description

The Company:

The Role of the Area Business Manager:
  • Selling a range of infusion pumps & consumables, ventilation products, temperature assessment, nebulisers & consumables, breathing filters, anaesthesia products & isolation products.
  • Primary focus: New business on consumables, although some capital devices are included in range.
  • Selling into anaesthesia departments, intensive care departments, critical care departments, theatre departments & A&E.
  • Support, maintain & enhance relationship & product usage amongst existing users of products through regular contact, training and fault finding/account management.
  • Plan your own work activities, within appropriate guidelines and procedures, and liaise with colleagues to ensure effective service delivery, generate sales, and maintain and improve customer relationships.
  • The role represents a high level of autonomy and freedom to work independently provided targets and standards are maintained

The Ideal Person for the Area Business Manager
  • Ideally looking for someone from a ventilation/anaesthesia background
  • Failing that will look at candidates that have experience of selling into anaesthesia departments, intensive care departments, critical care departments, theatre departments & A&E
  • Looking for someone who is a good communicator, capable of running your own opportunity pipeline without too much hand holding
  • Good organisational skills to handle the broad range of products & customers and can deal with the difficulties of theatre access/anaesthetic dept demands
