Scotland: Home-based with regional travelWere seeking a dynamic and results-driven Contracts Manager to join a national Training Provider and play a pivotal role in managing contracts and partnerships within the Apprenticeship sector.• Position: Apprenticeship and Contracts Manager - Salary: £52,000 - £55,000• Company Car or Car Allowance: £6,452 per annum• 25 days + bank holiday, rising to 30 days per annum• Generous pension scheme with Employer Contributions up to 7%• Home-based role with regional travel requirementsA little on the company.A highly recognised Training Provider with over 60 years of experience. Operating in Scotland, England and Wales, employing around 400 people.Summary of duties and responsibilities of the Apprenticeship and Contract ManagerAs a Contracts Manager, youll be instrumental in cultivating relationships with subcontractors, overseeing operational performance, and ensuring compliance with standards. Your proactive approach to managing at-risk provision, collaboration with the Fundingand Compliance team, and support for key stakeholder relationships contribute to the continual improvement of delivery quality and the overall apprenticeship experience. Duties of the Contracts and Apprenticeship Manager• Utilise the provider management framework to oversee a portfolio of subcontractors for apprenticeship delivery.• Manage subcontractors against quantitative, qualitative, and financial KPIs.• Address underperformance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.• Collaborate with subcontractors to establish and manage improvement plans.• Proactively lead quality improvement initiatives with support from the quality team.• Ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning, and a positive learner experience.• Provide timely feedback on the providers Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).• Provide and analyse robust and timely data to support learner management and contract delivery.• Proactively support the safeguarding of learners, adhering to provider policies and practices.• Monitor and address any issues affecting learner progress and assessment.• Effectively manage at-risk provision, mitigating issues and minimising the impact on learners and employers.• Collaborate with the Funding and Compliance team to ensure subcontractor compliance.• Liaise with other Provider Account Managers and the Provider Relationship Manager to ensure consistent communications and standards.• Assist the Senior Management Team in making informed decisions on commissioning and de-commissioning of provision and providers.Skills and Experience required for the Contacts and Apprenticeship Manager• Demonstrate success in effectively managing Contracts and Partnerships within the Education sector, ideally with a focus on Apprenticeships.• In-depth knowledge of Education Funding in Scotland, showcasing an understanding of the intricacies of funding mechanisms and regulations.• Comprehensive understanding of Apprenticeship frameworks, including policies, procedures, and evolving industry standards.• Proven ability to navigate and ensure adherence to Quality and Compliance standards within the Apprenticeship landscape.• Skill in identifying areas for improvement within partnerships and implementing strategies to enhance overall performance.• Strong collaborative skills to effectively work with a diverse range of stakeholders, fostering positive and productive relationships.• Strong analytical skills to provide and analyse data, contributing to effective learner management and contract delivery.• Experience in working closely with Funding and Compliance teams, ensuring subcontractors full compliance with contractual requirements through active follow-ups on audits and assurance activities.• Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel throughout Scotland where requiredThis position is subject to satisfactory employment and criminal record checks For more information please contact Simon Atkins on - Pertemps Newcastle
