We have 6 full and part time posts available.Experienced and innovative Advanced Nurse Practitioners are required to join Glasgow and Clyde GP out of hours service. You will work in various GP out of hours sites over weekends, evening and public holidays. Applicants must be NMC adult registered nurses who have masters’ degree or working towards. You must have already successfully undertaken the clinical assessment module, and be independent prescribers and have minor illness experience and the ability to make robust clinical decisions see, assess, diagnose and treat and discharge or refer onwards and be able to work autonomously but also as part of a team. You will be expected to take part in training of trainee ANPs and mentor and support newly qualified ANPsYou will also be expected to take part in audits and the ANP role developmentWe currently use face to face , Near Me and telephone consultations in the service and successful candidates will work a variety of methods of consultation.
