Job Description

2nd Line Support SpecialistLocation: GlasgowGlasgow: Up to 25K per annum (Dependent on experience)Term: Permanent Full-Time.Pertemps are delighted to announce that we are working with a brilliant client who are seeking a2nd Line Support Specialist to join them. This position is full time and permanent position.Within this role you will be in amongst a high-volumeservice desk handling all 2nd line queries and escalating those further to the relevant departments. You will need to have worked in a similar line of work before to be successful in this rolewith a minimum of two years experience in 2nd line support.You must be adaptable, self-sufficient, confident and resilient in nature, but you must also be engaging and accommodating to a team environment. A high level of attention will be required as you handle all 1st and 2nd Line issues to successfully support the companies end to end users. Summary of role:

  • Act as the first point of contact in resolving all/any technical issues.
  • Deliver 1st and 2nd line support.
  • Provide initial assessment, assess the ticket/issues urgency level i.e., list priorities and then research and provide solutions.
  • Partake in teamwork to monitor and fix tickets in a quick manner.
  • System management in starters, leavers, and movers.
The right candidate:
  • Full knowledge of ITIL.
  • Minimum 2 years of 2nd Line Support experience.
  • IOS/Android support and configuration experience.
  • Windows working systems such as Office 365, Microsoft Office packages and the Windows Softwares.
  • An understanding and ability of using service management tools e.g. ServiceDesk Plus, ServiceNow.
  • An awareness of GDPR rights and the ability to keep confidential information secure.
  • Great verbal and written communications with all levels operating in the company.
  • Someone with a customer service focused mindset.
