QEHS Manager £35,000 - £42,000 (doe)AmmanfordYolk recruitment is pleased to be exclusively recruiting Quality, Environment, Health and Safety Manager for a manufacturer who is a progressive company and market leader in their specialised fields.My client designs, manufactures and installs products across the construction and utilities sector. This is a growing business which is going from strength to strength and is an opportunity for an established QEHS Manager to join a company in which they canprogress to the next level over the coming years.The role reports into the Managing Director and would have 2 direct reports themselves. The successful candidate will provide informed, technical guidance, training and inspection/risk analysis to staff to ensure compliance regulatory requirements and Companystandards.What you will be doing as QEHS Manager: Oversee the day to day running of the Company Management Systems and carry out the requirements laid out as part of these systemscontinually monitoring company operations to ensure best practice and identify where can be made to QUENSH arrangements. Ensure the development and implementation of QUENSH related policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice. Lead group safety inspections/risk analysis arrangements for all company operations including, working on sites, to identify/decrease exposure to recognized safety hazards. Lead and facilitate all audits both internal and external to maintain ISO accreditation. Carry out individual accident prevention techniques, such as safety inspections, risk assessments, and aid management in the design of arrangements for safety at the workplace. Liaise with Insurance Provider to manage insurance claims. Facilitate Occupational Health support as required. Support and report QUENSH related data for statistical and management reporting purposes. Ensure legal and company compliance by effective liaison with external QUENSH support. Ensure correct maintenance of QUENSH documentation to ensure regulatory compliance. Perform Accident and Non-Conformance investigations to identify root cause and generate recommendations to improve processes and procedures. Develop and present, when required, in-house Health and Safety training courses to all levels of the work force. Weekly & Monthly RAG Indicator report. Monthly Accident review. Monthly H&S Performance. External Audit Performance, e.g ISO 9001. Measurement of incidents against production/hours worked and recognised standards. The skills you will bring as QEHS Manager:
