With clear objectives and support of your fellow colleagues, you will be part of a successful team contributing to the developmentof many varying projects across the north west.We are looking for a commercially driven Repair & Maintenance professional to join a highly reputable organization, managing the commercial aspects of responsive repairs within the Northwest including North Wales.Ideally coming from a Quantity Surveying background, we are looking for someone with a strong background in NHF SOR, invoicing, coding, estimating and WIP management to work closely with the Senior Managers and Directors to assist in driving the overallcommercial performance of the business.Principal accountabilities of the role include: Manage income and expenditure for SOR based contracts. Produce sub-contract payments and final accounts, ensuring that the sub-contractor has signed these off. Produce sub-contract orders, ensuring they are authorised by the authorised representative, together with all necessary documentation to comply with Group Commercial Policy. Complete on and off site measurements to assess payments to contractors. Attend and contribute to various meetings, such as pre-order meetings, quarterly valuation meetings and project review meetings with senior management, construction team as well as external contractors. Procure all sub-contract including all management of subcontractors relating to all SOR based contract areasTo be successful in this role you will have: Educated to degree level or equivalent in construction related subject (preferred but not essential). Experience of working as a Quantity Surveyor or Surveyor with a residential house builder. Knowledge of financial management and controls within a contractor management. Understanding of data management and intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office A strong knowledge of building industry practices, processes, and requirements Able to represent the Company professionally when dealing with clients Good technical construction knowledge with strong understanding of a range of different construction techniques, including sustainable and environmental construction and the practical implications of each. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to timescales and under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
