This role will be required to act as the Senior Financial accountant for the Gillingham site and the maincontact for the UK legal entity for the completion of the Statutory accounts. The split is currently envisagedto be around 50/50.The Senior Financial accountant part of the role revolves around supporting both the site FinancialController and the Finance team in the production of monthly and annual reporting and ensuringspecifically that there is understanding of process, policy and compliance responsibilities. Responsible forcoordinating the updating and documenting of current process alongside this.The Statutory accounting part of the role revolves around the co-ordination, preparation and ownership ofthe Legal Entitys Statutory accounts and other statutory returns including tax. This includes the initialpreparation, communication and co-ordination with the assisting external accountants and stakeholdersthrough to ensuring timely completion and filing.
