Job Description

Our mission is simple and significant in scope - to move as many people as possible around the UK.As part of our Digital team and supporting the wider business functions, the Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our Salesforce products and focussing on Sales and Service Cloudswithin our Coach and Transport Solutions Divisions. Working closely with the related teams, Product Managers and Customer Care teams, the administrator will identify, develop and deploy new business processes. This role is part technical project manager, partadministrator, part Salesforce analyst and 100% dedicated to our mission.You will be an integral part of the Centre of Excellence for Salesforce at National Express. This is a small but growing agile team of administrators and developers that collectively support Salesforce products across the different divisions of the NationalExpress UK Business. You will be supported by, and provide support to the wider Salesforce team as we share best practices and achieve our strategic goals.What youll do...Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud usersFocus the organizations use of data towards what best serves the missionHandle all basic administrative functions including user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields and other routine tasksGather detailed requests for improvements or changes to the system, and implement these changes as appropriateAutomate processes using Salesforce tools such Flow, Approval Processes and Validation RulesManage less complex Salesforce integrations - those not handled by a Salesforce Developer or Consultant/PartnerIdentify, install and maintain appropriate apps from the AppExchangeMaintain and adhere to a comprehensive Change Management process and Sandbox strategy utilising a central UAT sandboxTrain new users and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organizationDocument customizations made in SalesforcePlan ahead for upgrades, seasonal releases and long term projectsAct as mentor and manager for the other system administrator who will support you achieve your goals.What youll need...A documented history of successful project completionA demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex processesStrong Salesforce interest and ability to quickly master new technologyStrong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, processes, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity preferredStrong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality preferredMinimum two years of experience as a Salesforce administrator preferredSalesforce Administrator Certification preferred.Experience in managing other people preferred.Excellent project management skills and a positive attitudeDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and handle and prioritize simultaneous requestsCreative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skillsMust demonstrate ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of the organizationAbility to critically evaluate and prioritize information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflictsAbility to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and other integrated systemsPeople Management skillsWhat we offer in return for your hard work and commitment...£35,000 - 40,000 per annumFree Bus & Coach travel for yourselfComplimentary coach travel for a Nominated Person or complimentary bus travel for a Spouse or Partner50% discount for friends and family on full fares on our coach servicesCompany pensionLife AssuranceAccess to NX Health BusEmployee Assistance ProgrammeVariety of deals and discounts available through NX online portalThings to Note...
